UFC 320: Ankalaev vs Pereira 2 goes down this Saturday, October 4th, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev makes his first title defense against Alex Pereira in a highly anticipated rematch. Ankalaev dethroned Pereira via unanimous decision at UFC 313 back in March, serving Pereira his first loss in the light heavyweight division. In their first matchup, Pereira won the opening round with his signature leg kicks, but faded as the fight progressed, clearly losing the next three rounds and only again gaining momentum in the fifth. In a recent interview, Pereira acknowledged that his conditioning was only at about 40% in their first fight, and promises “much more” this time around.
Also on the card, bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili puts his belt on the line against former title challenger Cory Sandhagen in the co-main event, and Jiri Prochazka takes on Khalil Rountree in what is likely a title eliminator. Tickets are still available starting at $279.
