🎲 UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs Vallejos this Saturday in Vegas
The UFC is back in Las Vegas this weekend for UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs Vallejos, taking place this Saturday, March 14th, at the Meta APEX. Headlining the card is a featherweight matchup between Josh Emmett (#11) and Kevin Vallejos (#14), with the veteran contender trying to hold his ground against one of the division’s fastest-rising prospects.
Emmett enters the fight in a critical spot, having lost four of his last five, with his lone win in that stretch being his brutal knockout over Bryce Mitchell. Across from him is Vallejos, one of the UFC’s fastest-rising featherweight prospects, who has gone 3-0 inside the Octagon and made a statement last December with a knockout win over Giga Chikadze. If Emmett can slow Vallejos down, force him into longer exchanges, and land the cleaner counters, his experience and power could take over, but if Vallejos can keep the pace high and continue finding openings with his speed and explosiveness, he has the kind of power to end the fight at any moment.
